I’m Carrie Sayer. My purpose for existence is to inspire others to be their best. I strive to always be my authentic, compassionate, open self. I bring this to everything I do, onstage and off. My wish that you, too, will be inspired to courageously embrace and openly share your own authentic self.
I am passionate about performing. I’ve been onstage since I was three. I grew up in Chelsea, Michigan, and was active in drama and music there. Since then, I’ve studied theater at Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI), Boarshead Professional Theatre (Lansing, MI), Meadowbrook Theatre (Rochester Hills, MI), and Jeff Daniels’ Purple Rose Theatre Co. (Chelsea, MI).
I have performed in many community and professional venues. These include MSU, Boarshead, Meadowbrook, Performance Network (Ann Arbor), Wild Swan Theater (Ann Arbor), Croswell Opera House (Adrian, MI), and Ann Arbor Civic Theatre. Read my resume here.
When not onstage, I teach private acting and singing lessons at my studio in Dexter, Michigan. Visit my website if you’d like more information about my coaching services: www.CarrieJayStudio.com.
